Just felt really bored. So kinda posted on class blog(s).
And now it's here(;
Told Jiarui I would post this LOL.
A ridiculous "inspiration" from the CHAMPS lesson of Racial Harmony(:
The Singapore QuiltMaria Hertorgh Case. 1956 Student Riots. Konfrontasi. 1956 Common Riots.
The rude awakenings.
What have we got?
What have we learnt?
4 different races.
Chinese, Malays, Indians, Others.
4 different backgrounds.
4 different cultures.
But through it all,
We've made it strong.
What others couldn't do,
We've shown them all.
The mistakes we made,
The consequences we faced.
No one understands better,
Than us Singapore people.
A multi-racial society,
Seems so strong but so weak.
Nothing is for granted,
If only we could see.
It takes just a little spark,
To set the fire ablaze.
But imagine how much water is needed,
to put the fire out.
What about the debris left,
the emotional scars that stayed.
We need to work hand in hand
to maintain this peaceful society.
This is a cliche but
we all need to play a part.
A little needle,
threads of peace.
The Singapore Quilt,
what we must achieve.
-End-
I think..I'm...ridiculous.
Come out with such stuff.
Shows CHAMPS lessons sometimes do help ( ALITTLE!)
Ahahaha.
In chemistry lessons we had to each come up with a "I-donno-what-you-call-it" so as to memorise the reactivity series.
